    This was one of the best reads that i have enjoyed in a long time. I thought, as probably most people do, that Steve Young lived this fascinating and idyllic life as a professional football player. To read what it was really like for him is sobering. I have never endured anxiety other than normal concerns in life, but Steve made the affliction understandable. What an amazing story! I enjoyed every page and I have a new appreciation for Steve Young the football player and the man.

    This is an extremely well-written inspiring story of faith, overcoming adversity, and oh yeah, fantastic football stories for any fan. But everyone should read it, sports fan or not.

    I learned a lot about Steve Young I never knew. He is a very principled man. Worthy of your time. One complaint on the audio books side, the reader mispronounced many Of the NFL players names. A small complaint on a overall great book. Buy it, read it, enjoy it.

    Don't let your wife read this book. She will fall madly in love with Steve Young. My wife and I read it over about a week. She started after I did and finished it before me. She's not a sports fan, and didn't know much about Steve Young, but now she wants to see him every time he's on ESPN and has watched "A Football Life: Steve Young" twice. This was a great read. Excellent job of sharing personal and spiritual experiences. I learned many things about myself that I didn't know by reading this book. Worth the purchase. Kelly Boardman, Oregon
