    I liked this book. I live in Alaska and am an avid hunter, so I am always looking for survival info. I have read a few books on the subject including the sas survival guide. This is basically the same thing broke down into common sense and humor, with very good facts. It really all comes down to being prepared and having a plan. I highly recommend this book.

    Great book! This is a thousand times better than any other survival guide / book in the store. I highly recommend anyone looking to be better prepared, read this book first and then read the other book by the same author called "when all hell breaks loose". Book #2 provides even more information and updates from this book (recommend reading both to get a really good concept of self resilience.) Being in emergency preparedness management, I truly can't express how important this information should be to everyone!
