    This book gave me a great insight to that horrible day in Dallas. Our country will never really know who or what was involved! Could it had been prevented? Blaine answered some questions to the numerous theories out there. Though the only I truly go not believe is the one about Marilyn Monroe! We all know JFK and her had an affair! Overall a great book!

    I wasn't quite sure what to expect when I bought this book on a whim, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. An extremely interesting look at the lives of people of whom so much is expected but so little is known or understood. I wish a little more time had been spent on how these stressful jobs affected their home lives. I can only imagine the pressure on the wives of these agents, who for all intents and purposes, were single mothers much of the time. Birthdays, holidays, anniversaries, special events -- none of them were sacred in the life of an agent and his family. How difficult for the children as well! Thanks for all the hard work on a solid book!

    This book makes you really understand the extreme hardship that these agents experienced following the death of President Kennedy. The transition from Eisenhower to Kennedy would be difficult and the author details the difficulty they all had to overcome. It makes you admire the dedication and the loyalty these men had for their country. Definitely worth the read.

    So much more than a Kennedy assassination book, this is an extremely well-written account of Kennedy's secret service detail from day 1 of the administration. It was a page turner I just couldn't put down. Jerry, you did history right.
